GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Beginning on January 1, 2022, if you are uninsured or don’t plan to submit your claim to your health plan, health care providers and facilities must provide you with a “good faith estimate” (GFE) of expected charges before you get an item or service. This should include expected charges for the primary service and any anticipated charges associated with the primary service.

Alabama Dermatology and Skin Specialists fully support this new requirement, and if you are in one of the categories identified above, please contact us for a good faith estimate of any office visit. Be prepared to describe the reason for your visit and we will provide you with the anticipated costs of treatment.
